The Hit Music Princess

Started off as PD at my college station WWNW in New Wilmington, PA. My first paying job was board opping at CBS Radio's Star 100.7 in Pittsburgh. I part-timed at Star 104 in Erie PA for over a year and at Froggy in Pittsburgh. I just started my first full time job doing middays in Meridian, MS at WJDQ (CHR). Every step in my career is exciting!

Sharing is Caring

Friday I went back to Westminnie to speak to Dr. B's announcing class about phoners. This was a great experience for me and hopefully I gave the class some insight too. A few weeks earlier Dr. B. sent me the sheet he went over in class and I went through my airchecks to find samples. It was great to see everyone and going back made me appreciate how far I've come.

I also started at another country station on Saturday--the Wolf at my Erie cluster. I can only fill in because of my Froggy schedule, but hopefully will see more hours in the summer. My name on that station is Heather Wylde. It's a neat station to be involved with because it changed from US 93.9 to 93.9 The Wolf in August after losing out to Erie's other country station in the ratings. But this fall (the Wolf's first ratings book) it came in first so the market has a new country leader. It's also a station with high branding quality.

Plus....Last week my PD and APD were kind enough to let me sit in on a music meeting with the consultant. It was interesting to hear everyone's music philosophies and viewpoints on different songs.
